You are an idiot. I am making a post to inform people in our neighborhood that a child predator is among us, operates a business, and you want to make assumptions about me because you do not understand what I wrote.

Silk Leaders is a fabric store on 4th & Fitzwater. Mitch is the owner. He was arrested for molesting a neighborhood boy. Apparently, it has been an ongoing thing. Dom is the local beat cop. Is this simple enough for you to follow?

What concerns me is that he is already out on bail and walking around the neighborhood like nothing happened.

Should we change the title of this thread from child rapist to child molestor? It's a disgusting, despicable crime either way.

Whoa, now. Some of us don't know everyone's name in the neighborhood. I had to Google to even discover that Silk Leaders is apparently a fabric store. I understand you're upset, and as a parent, I can agree that if this is true, it's terrible. But don't jump over everyone that needs more clarification.

Thank you. I've lived here for 7 years and had no idea who Mitch was or what Silk Leaders is.

I also think "accused" should be added to the title, since as far as I know we still live in a country where people are innocent until proven guilty. (Although if he is proven guilty I hope he is punished severely and painfully for a very very long time since child molestation is one of the most despicable acts there is.)

I guarantee you that less than a dozen people in the world would have understood your post the way it was first presented.

Since you posted this on a public messageboard, I presume that you were trying to get the word out to the public about the situation. If you only wanted people who live on your block and know all the players involved to get the message, it would have been easier to lean out your front door and shout it.

Given the seriousness of the allegations you made, the rest of us would like enough info to decide whether or not to be concerned.
