I'm sure you'll disagree Alesis - but I always find it silly when a post is called out on this board for being in the wrong folder.

I could understand it if it was epidemic and the powers that be were trying to get some order in the url ... but the truth is the number of posts that fall into the QV/BV/H thread that don't 'technically' belong here are minimal.

Personally, I replied to the thread since I don't have the time to read the entire site - I mainly focus on my neighborhood. This was an interesting story that will (someday) affect my neighborhood (among others) and I was glad to see the post.

Yes, rules are rules - but to call out a post simply because it doesn't strictly address our 'hood - or to comment on a possible spam post - seems a bit over the top.

There are tools in place to flag a post as a violation/spam - so thats all that needs to happen for those posts. As for this one, just let it die on the vine. Or let those interested in having this back/forth about it, have at it and comment to those posts that you DO want to talk about.

Again - I'm sure you'll defend and disagree - but I just had to state my view here.

Personally, I don't care if this post belongs in this folder or another - to me it WAS relevant to my neighborhood, being so close to the waterfront, and so I commented.

My only complaint is that Baltimora's Tarzan Boy was placed into the playlist this week so I am checkmated, as I cannot complain against such a fine inclusion.

HAHA! Touche!

(for those wondering - Alesis refers to my playlist from last Friday's LAND OF THE LOST on WXPN)

BTW - if you missed the June edition of LAND OF THE LOST - it's looped 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - enjoy!

That is spam, and clearly a violation of TOS. AHHHH! thanks for the link, though...I didn't get to listen to all of the interview.

Well, since you are local and all, I can't get all ga-ga over your celebrity since I attend your various events; therefore, I am wondering if you could get me an 8x10 glossy signed by Ramon "El Rock" Martinez himself. I just can't get enough of him, especially when he did an entire show with Cure covers from around the world. Nothing says devotion like an Ecuadorian Cure cover band!

Well - it's not signed but It's the best I can do - here's Ramon (in blue T, complete with international 'rock' symbol) with the band KP9000 in their hometown of Caracas, Venezuela...

Ramon is not as debonair as I had envisioned. I will, however, use this as my desktop for the time being.
