I was thinking the same thing. But if you at the original picture in the thread with the trough knocked off the base it does not appear that chip was caused by THIS incident.

But it could be fairly recent.

Edit-- After thinking about this some more, I think if the truck ran or backed into the trough right at the corner where that chip is the trough could have been twisted off the base and ended up in the position in the original picture.

The chip on the front has been there for several years as I can remember. It might be good to put a ballard up there to prevent future accidents.
