Default Fitzwater Street - 2nd to 4th

Anyone know when Fitzwater Street is going to be finished? It's been ripped up for three weeks or so already, but there's no sign of any new work being done to finish it up.

It's a small nuisance in the grand scheme of things, but crossing it is on our daily walking route with our young kids in a stroller, and the chopped up street blocks near the curb cutouts make for treacherous walking. I can imagine it's the same for anyone in a wheelchair.

probably soon, they ripped up my street about a month ago, and finally came and repaved it today, looks great, it sucked for a month of bumpy riding, and really sucked at 9am while all I heard was reverse beeps and loud trucks, but it was worth it.

Given that Mayor Nutter's special assistant is a resident of one of those blocks, I'm really surprised it's taking this long.

4th Street, from Snyder to Shunk has been ripped up for months. It's terrible, especially, if you're on the 57. I'm sitting there trying to read the news on my Blackberry and as soon as you hit there, you no longer can read words. It's shaky black squiggles and it kind of looks like the words are coming off the side of the phone's screen.
