Nor can I, but I was standing there looking at the bike and the pool of blood last night. I even heard the shot. Single shot, large caliber. Probably a 357 or something like that because it sounded like an M80 from a whole block away and the cops were looking for a shell casing but couldn't find anything, which leads me to believe that it was probably still in the cylinder.
About an hour and a half later there was another shot that sounded exactly the same further south and I saw about a million cop cars going flying south on 6th. I think this was what OHL might have been referring to a few posts ago. There's a lot to like about Philly and QV in particular, but my patience is wearing thin...

Robbery in Old Swede's Courthouse
There was an armed robbery at 1 p.m. (yes, in the middle of the day) on Sunday at the Old Swedes Courtyard, the houses between Queen and Christian, Swanson and Columbus.

I've noticed several robberies on the crime maps - including "home robberies", in the past 2 weeks in the entire area from Broad to Front and South to Wash. If the cops on this board catch these guys, please let us know!

It was an aggravated assault until this morning - now its a murder. The stretch of Carpenter between 5th and 6th has continued to get worse over the past year. More homes are abandoned and there is very little traffic and lighting. The vacant lots really need to be cleaned up or it will continue to do so.

If we are talking about 5th & Carpenter, I am sure the vacant lots have very little to do with this shooting.
