Don't get TOO excited about Sarcones delivering. We live by 11th and Christian which is what? Like several blocks away and that was "too far for them" when I called. No problem really, since we can walk there in less than 5 minutes, but I've noticed that when places say they "deliver" in Philly, it's a 3 block radius. Sometimes, you just want to be a sloth in your pj's and not leave the house.

This has happened quite a few times when I've called different restaurants. However, Sarcones is really really good so even if you have to drive over there - you can usually call ahead and put your blinkers on while you park on the Fitzwater side if you're too far to drive or out and about in your car running errands. ( Keep a menu in your car!)

Yeah, I think it may actually be mostly large orders... I know he drives to Jefferson Hospital on occasion, so I'd assume they make longer trips for bigger orders.

Chickies does make a great veggie hoagie. I've never had any other hoagie from them but I bet they are good as well. I hope they still use sarcone's rolls.
