So this was extremely random and somewhat frightening...

As my girlfriend and I were coming home, walking from 3rd and Christian to 3rd and Queen, we hear an extremely loud and quick slamming of the breaks, followed by more engine revving. We look to see some silver sedan flying up 3rd st, through Christian st, then hook a high speed left the wrong way down Queen St.

Right behind him are 3 or 4 squad cars...the worse part is no one saw him turn! They all just continued to drive straight up third (not sure how they didn't see it). My girlfriend and I were literally on third pointing the last cop car in the direction he sped off... Shortly later, there were squad cars up and down every QV street.

Anyone else catch/hear this? Any info on this? Pretty frightening stuff to witness coming through the neighborhood.
