I haven't checked out their latest one that's in town, but I have seen two of their past shows and they are pretty amazing. It's not a clown car and dogs spinning plates type of circus. You can probably go on youtube and check out some clips of it and see if it's up your alley. I think Cirque is one of those things where people either love it or hate it.

Agreed. I went to a show on their very first U.S. tour and it was quite good. Really good aerialists and contortionists. The fact that they deliver everything in a kind of gibberish, "Cirque-speak" can get a little annoying at times, but lends to the surreal quality. Hopefully they still use a live band, because that was a great feature.

i was at opening night - AMAZING! Having gone every year, this is a (much-needed) retreat back to the roots of Cirque... the past few years had become quite 'sensual' in theme and that's all fine and good ... but it's a CIRCUS afterall!

This performance is totally filled with 'death-defying' acts and thrills - as well as some fun comedy.

I totally enjoyed it - as did everyone around us!

You can save a few $$ on the tickets by purchasing them at the box office - even day of, if the site shows there are available seats. Never did understand that "convenience charge" that's utterly inconvenient!
