yeah they were rediculously packed both days, but they were giving out little beers to people who had to wait a while. I think the rain even helped them more Sunday, after everything else basically shut down, it was mobbed inside still

That beer really hit the spot, too. That was awesome. And they were topping us off inside as well. I'm pretty sure I was in there for maybe 35-40 minutes. But that was a delicious hoagie.

I know! I know! I had the regular Italian, but next time (tomorrow) I'm going to get the old-fashioned Italian.

That bread is ridiculously good.

Not sure if he will be giving em out on game days or not, but they went through a few cases of Lager over the course of the weekend I would think. I think I only know one person that actually DOESN'T like Sarcones bread... of course, I'm engaged to her, she is also one of the few people I know of that dislikes Nicks Roast Beef sandwiches (on 20th and Jackson). So I have to go off on my own, before work or while she is working if I want one, 'cause she never wants to go with me! Ya know, the Pizza they were selling at Sarcones Bakery down the street looked really good, that I have never tried. Oh, Nipsey- my equipment stayed dry, but I decided to walk up and check out the rest of the festival after I shut down (around 1) because it had stopped raining already, but of course it started to come down again... HARD... I got DRENCHED, my car was 4 blocks away, and I had no jacket or hood or anything. Thank goodness a friend of mine was at a house on 9th street, across from Ralphs, SO I ran down there and pounded on the door until he let me in!

HIG and I got drenched on Sunday - but stayed out for a while. We said hello to hubba (nice to meetcha, by the way. ) we picked up more kettle corn (the breakfast of champions!) and a delicious Sarcones pepperoni roll.

Then the rain started really coming down and we hid under an awning, running out occasionally to grab more eats (tacos, sausage sandwich, etc) then running back under the awning and listening to the band play in the rain until it was way too wet for them to continue.

A nice, wet day. My only regret is missing halfball. Did anyone catch any of the tournament?
