Anyway, what I found is that two buses go near there, the 99 and the 131, and both appear to leave from the Norristown transportation center. And THAT is served by the R6. so....we may not necessarily be forced to drive the Schuylkill, but it could be a long public transport commute.

If you can spare the time (meaning, you don't REALLY need a 30 minute commute), being on Septa means you can read, work on a laptop, listen to your ipod, sleep more, etc. A 60 minute train/bus ride is more "productive" and less stressful than a 30 minute traffic jam. That said, the R6+131 seems to be at least 80-90 minutes from suburban station, and that is getting pretty long for doing daily.
