I am sure someone posted something about this guy already, but I am posting again.

IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT GETTING HIM OUT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD?

It's great the guy is trying to make some money, but he won't leave us alone. I don't want him to sweep my sidewalk.

He is constantly knocking on my door looking for money from my boyfriend. We gave him $20 to leave us alone....he came back for $10 more dollars and didn't even sweep!

I just don't feel safe.

Call the police when you seem him. Discourage your neighbors from hiring or paying him. Stop paying him. Don't open the door for him. I think you are right to feel unsafe around him, as I do, and have seen him engage in what I would call aggressive and strange behavior - singing or not. I hear that the police are aware of him and do not want him staying around the neighborhood.

He must be picking up enough cash in QV to make it worth his while. If you have to pay someone to go away, he's a menace. Your payment encourages him to return to your door and stay in the neighborhood. If you feel your safety is threatened by telling him "no," then he is a threat. Call the cops.
