Default Talula's Table at Head House Farmers Market Today!

Friends, go over to the Farmer's Market 10 am at Head House and welcome back Aimee Olexy and Bryan Sikora of Talula's Table. After selling Django (which is still quite good) they left for Kennett Square and opened a gourmet market and single-table reservations-only evening dining experience:

http://www.talulastable.com/about.html

.... what has become the single most difficult dinner reservation to be had in the entire United States!

But you can still experience some of Brian's food today. After y'all buy everything they are selling at the market -- be sure to gush and tell them how much we miss them on South Street and how we'd love to have them all back. Those pair are a national treasure. Here's an idea ... how about their being the 5-star restaurant for the new 5-star Starwoods hotel at Stampers Square? Would that be a coup or what?

PS: Be jealous -- I have a Talula's Table res. next month with 10 other friends and am looking for a designated driver. Volunteers?

As long as I can drive with a martini in my hand.

Thanks for the info-I'm heading down now!

Default Short a sausage?

I bought a couple of the spiced lamb sausages with raisins, (two to a package) put 'em on the grill when I got back, and ate 'em with a little spicy brown mustard. Dang ... possibly the best sausage I ever 'et.

I got two pretty good sized ones for my $9 (expensive but you pay for quality). Maybe some of the packages had 3 in them, if they were smaller. However, if you feel you were little short on the sausage, just talk to Brian next week.

My lamb and raisin sausages had 2 in a pack as well ....

Did you think you were getting 3 sausages or did you buy a bunch of packs and end up a pack short?

I will be eating mines tonight .... I sampled the duck but wasn't too keen on it ... but just a matter of taste. I'll have to see how the lamb cooks up.

I also can't wait for Old Earth Farm to be back (we had to cruise the market quick before people smashed our stroller just kidding we were pushing bikes through I kid I kid) so I didn't see them there hopefully they will be back, freakin awesome Tamworth pig sausages last year.

No...she she looked at nipsey coming out of the shower and said "Where's YOUR sausage". Nipsey misinterpreted her, and it turns out that no one was shorted anything by Talula.

(juvenile? yes. I'm bored and en route to my office)

HAHAHAHA...ok, I'll reserve the perverted sausage jokes for the old ladies holding up the line at talula's this coming weekend. Believe me, once i get started the line will thin very quickly.

Good, whisper what time you will do this to me, so that I won't have to stand in such awful lines--you will be doing humanity a huge favor.
