Default Best Way to remove a car from in front of a driveway

I have a red camaro blocking my garage, i called the cops, but they said all they can do is ticket it, not tow it unless it is stolen, what is the best course of action?

Try the Parking Authority. They've got a hook for all occasions.

There was another thread here recently about this. Do a search, there's apparently a towing company that will tow without your having a sign out front.

with the southstreet stretscape in full force, there's plenty of boulders available. It may sound funny, but someone parked IN MY ACTUAL GARAGE(not driveway) and when I yelled at them , they said " I'll be right back" since it was in my house, I smashed the front and back window, had them towed, and gave them photos of what their car looked like.

I then told them some details I won't share on phillyblog, and I haven't heard from them since. They were pretty nice, all things considered.

On a related note, is it true you can get a ticket for parking in front of your own garage? I was told by a neighbor that they got one and when they tried to fight it (showing proof that it was in fact their residence) they were told it didn't matter.
Could this possibly be right or are they...shall we say, confused?

People really don't seem to understand. For 95% of philadelphia properties, parking in front of "your driveway" means that you are parking on the public sidewalk. It is a thoroughfare to the garage-not a driveway. The area must maintain clear for pedestrians, the handicapped, and people with strollers. If everyone with a driveway considered the sidewalk their personal driveway it would be ridiculous walking through the neighborhood.

I should clarify - by "in front of their driveway" I meant parking on the street, but blocking access to their own driveway. They were not blocking the sidewalk, they were parked alongside the curb cut for their driveway when they received their ticket.
