4/4, 5:43 p.m. - 8th Street Rite Aid, white male, 20 y.o., placed needle on pharmacy counter and demanded drugs. Pharmacist hit alarm and offender fled.

4/4, 7:27 p.m., 10XX South 8th Street, offender threatened store keeper with knife and syringe, claimed to have AIDS, was arrested after a short struggle..

Burglary
3/28, 2:21 a.m. - 7XX South 8th Street, policed noticed open basement door. On investigation found and arrested offender.
4/3, 3:34 p.m. - 7XX Fulton St., jewelry taken.

Theft
4/4 8: 53 a.m. - 8XX South Darien, Jacuzzi taken from 3rd floor apartment. Several contractors have keys.

Theft from Vehicle
3/26, 6:30 p.m. - 8XX South Warnock St., window broken, cash taken.

4/4, 9:07a.m. - 6XX Kimball St., no forced entry. GPS taken.

Bike Theft
3/31, 4:00 p.m. - 7XX South Delhi, child's bike, 14" china beach cruiser left outside.

The two needle incidents are most likely one and the same. What a maroon.

The basement invasion thing is crazy. We were going to bed, and saw like 8 cop cars outside and a man being put into the back of a cruiser. We had no idea what was going on, but were tempted to lean out and ask for some info. Awesome that the officer didn't just let the open window go uninvestigated.
