I gotta agree with ya, DeeBee. The outside isn't so bad, but I cringe to read the words "art deco," "stripper pole," and "chandeliers."

I assume this is the family that owned that chain of stores called "Spain's Cards and Gifts."

Ug!That one! It's like a first year building design school project.

When that house was first built in the 80's, I went to the open house. Gorgeous! Very Deco/Memphis-y.
To hear that it was ghettoed up with chandeliers and striper poles is an abomination.

Right. I assumed it was owned by the cava people or a developer using left over materials. For another house like that see the place on the south side of catherine right before 11th street.

It's not the one with the clock (so cute, at least on the outside); this one is on the 600 block, and you can't miss it.

Will anyone want to pay $6 million for a place with one bedroom? Sure they can reconfigure the inside, but that's even more money. You can get huge apartments on Rittenhouse Square for half that.

Um - wrong house.

It was built NEW from the ground up in the last 4 years...

It DID use "top notch" construction techniques and materials...
Interior steel frame
Steel floor trusses spaced 12" or less... etc...

Its located on the space of the building to the LEFT of the upholstery truck.
I've been told that the space was once a bakery.
