Has anyone else heard the rumor that they are putting another Tria near the intersection of 6th & Bainbridge. I've now heard it from two different people in the restaurant industry, but can't find anything that actually confirms it.
If it is actually happening I'll be so excited!!! ![]() Maybe in the old Norge building on the NE corner? |

I know someone who works there and the plan is ultimatley to have around 6 in Philadelphia. Supposedly they are planned for Northern Liberties, West Philly, Old City, and South Philly.

My wife was so excited about this possibility that she called Tria's corporate offices to inquire about 6th and Bainbridge and she received the standard: "We neither confirm nor deny anything." I usually take that as a "Yes." What do you think?

How is the current location on Spruce "too far away". That is like a 10 minute walk from anywhere in QV/BV

I really can't help myself and every since this thread started, all that I can think of is...
The nutria or coypu (Myocastor coypus) is a large, herbivorous, semiaquatic rodent and the only member of the family Myocastoridae. Originally native to temperate South America, it has since been introduced to North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, primarily by fur ranchers.[2] Although it is still valued for its fur in some regions, its destructive feeding and burrowing behaviors make this invasive species a pest throughout most of its range. |
