Default Appropos of very little

As further evidence that I am shamefully wasting brain cells, last night, Alesis, I was thinking about the online persona I know as Alesis, and wonder how you pronounce Alesis. I assume it is Uh-LEH-sis. I could be all wrong, though! Maybe you're Ah-LEE-sis.

Oh. Thanks for bringing up another one...hehe

A guy kept bring up some points about material, what's pre-exisitng if it needs repaired, what if there's an approvement that should blend with stucco already there, etc. He basically said "how do we know what you will like and what you won't". The insider's club laughed, pointed to the creator of this bill(richard cole), and snidely said "well, if you hire richard you won't have anything to worry about". I assume richard cole is an architect?

Yes. There was someone there who said they lived on the 700 block of ... monroe maybe? ... but in any event, outside the QV boundaries and nevertheless was allowed to watch the spectacle.

The sad thing is that, as far as I could tell, TimK, Alesis and I were the only ones really making a ruckus ... actually, there was one guy sitting behind me who was madder than I was, and two women behind me who were also opposed but didn't shout loud enough ... oh, and the woman who signs people in on election day, although she really didn't seem to be making any sense.

And yes, Cole is an architect: http://www.rmcoleassoc.com/

thanks I think?

I only asked one question then left it to the peanut gallery. There's no way I was going to match wits with a nimby group that already has their mind up. I'm saving my arguments for Dicicco and letters to city council, although I'm not too confident after the way he was treating people last night.

Was the voter lady the one with composition pad from the late 1800's? My wife wanted that tablet in the worst way.

Well, it may have only been one "question," but you provided a lot more, including your encyclopedic knowledge of QV commercial property and regs.

And yes, the women in the back with the parchment schoolbook is the election lady.

Nope...I only asked about the setback issue. I left the commercial stuff to the south street boardmembers and executive director-some of whom might have gotten a list of suggestions from someone

As a homeowner, you have every right to email or send a letter to the councilman. In my opinion, anything that would affect prop. values in QV would surely effect prop. values in BV!
