Default apartments for rent?

I have been trying my best to find apartments for rent in Queen Village/Bella Vista, but I am from out of town so all I have is the internet and alot of what's listed seems to be exaggerated as far as amenities go.

Since people on this blog live in the area, have you seen any good apts for rent?
Or do you know any great lanlords or realtors who could help me?

I would really appreciate it.
I am moving over 1,300 miles and I will not have a chance to check out any of these places in person before we move.

I've checked with all the usual places, including craigslist, but I thought maybe I could get an insiders point of view.

Thank you so very much!!!!

My apartment is for rent. It is a 3BR/2.5BA and we paid $1400/month. I'm not sure how much they are trying to get now. It is near 2nd and South Streets (about 2 blocks from there).

Default Welcome to the neighborhood.

Molly,

Great choice on neighborhoods...the QV has really worked out well for me, my wife, and newborn daughter. We currently rent a small one bedroom in the 300 block, which is now too small with baby and all. It's a great bilevel with lots of character, storage in basement and is secure off of a gated courtyard. Great for one, maybe two...but definitely not three!

Our lease is up in May, but if a tenant is interested, we may be able to leave early. Depending on your move schedule, maybe we could work something out?

Regardless, I did want to mention our place, and best of luck with your search.

the apartment above mine is for rent by solo realty.

it's a smallish one bedroom with a small deck overlooking nice courtyards in the back. the street and neighborhood are great and the apartment has some nice features like pine wood floors. there is storage space in the basement and usually parking on the street.

however, it does not have central air and the realty company isn't the greatest (we rented from a private owner who sold it). they're looking for $750/mo which, i think, is about right for the area.

here's a link to the realtor's website: http://www.solorealty.com/renting/re...eenvillage.htm

if you are interested and have questions about the place, send me an e-mail. i'll give you a far more honest asessment than the realtors!

Default apartments

I just moved to Bella Vista, and rented my apartment through Tom G. at Plumer Real Estate. He is a really nice man, and they had two more BV apts. available recently.
