we all know that god created man in his image which apparently includes good secretarial skills. no monkey (which most certainly was not descended from a common ancestor to me) will ever type, collate, or take dictation.

Anyone know how he was caught? I'm guessing one of his friends gave him up for the reward.

Thus the rarity of Scorpio being correct.

He was not charged with harming an animal:

He faces felony charges of extortion, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief, in addition to charges of harassment and terroristic threats.

He was caught because one of the phone calls was eventually traced to his landline.

The story is listed on the front page of MSNBC.

I was happy to hear that the 15 year old piece of human s**t has been found. No doubt mommy already has a lawyer who will say in his defense "there's no proof because Edna's body was not found".

They should let some of the people who love dogs go after this moron. The justice system doesn't do much to minors who murder people, so he'll probably get a slap on the wrist for killing an animal. I think they should make the family buy Mr. Whiting another dog.

I hope the little piece of trash reveals the reason for this horrible act. Maybe he'll get put juvenile detention and catch AIDS from an encounter in the shower. I feel no sympathy. This kid will likely move onto humans when he gets older, so it would save the taxpayers money if he had an unfortunate accident.

Yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find out who he is and where he lives - I mean, his friends in Nicetown apparently turned him in. This monster is DEFINITELY going to move on to humans. What I don't understand is that he can be released to his parents until trial.

Before I ask you to submit your resumé for humanitarian efforts or participate in this year's AIDS walk, I'd like to review your heartfelt and loving sentiments:

If you read the article you would see that the parents allowed their kids to be interrogated by police without council present. This would suggest that "mommy" wished to assist rather than inhibit the investigation. Will the kid get a lawyer? Well, in the U.S. anyone has the right to an attorney for any criminal procedure that may cause incarceration-so yes, the kid will get an attorney just as any other offender.

Yes, third party justice. Someone unrelated to the situation should "go after" a minor who, as far as know so far, only made a crank phone call. And I don't think that Mr. Whiting wants the kid who may have had something to do with his dog's disappearance to have any involvement, financial or otherwise, with his next pet.

I'm glad you have no sympathy for an imaginary shower scene you conjured in your head.

Maybe we should give aids to all of those "human pieces of sh*t" while we're at it. Yeah, then when they eventually get out of jail they'll be reeeeaaaalllll angry and take it out by raping you, or someone you love, or someone I love. Meanwhile, while our loved ones will suffer a horrendous disease, the offenders get to keep on living since our state tax dollars will be paying for their AIDS medications. Sounds like a great plan for social change.

I don't think you need to be a dog lover/owner to see what a malicious act of cruelty is. We don't know what happened to the dog (I expect we'll find out soon enough), but the torture of her over the phone in an attempt to blackmail the guy is sick and twisted.

It's a signal of a of budding sociopath and this person needs to be locked up for ever. You can't cure sociopaths. The only humane thing is to lock them up and stop them from getting out into society.

The posted audio says he was. Is that not accurate?
