SW corner of 13th and South has had a lot of activity lately. This is the spot that used to be a tattoo place. Noticed today that the walls have been cut out on South and 13th for huge windows. Looked like the windows started going in also.

Anyone know what's happening there?

I've got nothing to add, but I saw the same thing this weekend, and thought it looked potentially really nice. A nice open storefront at that corner would be great. South seems to be still chugging along in terms of construction, if all the new storefronts actually fill up, 1100-1500 South Street will be a really nice retail stretch.

I was told by my neighbor that corner is going to be a coffee house! Am not sure if it will be the whole building though.... Right behind they are planning more of those hugely nice townhomes like the ones near by on 13th and Bainbridge.
