You get ticketed for parking in front of your garage, even if it is YOUR garage. Which I think is stupid. If someone wants to block their own access, and therefore use one less spot on the street that should be encouraged.

I thought only college girls and Europeans drove scooters.

Its illegal to park a scooter or motorcycle on the sidewalk; the street is the only legal option, other than his garage.

Go down to S. Philly and look at some streets that are filled with chairs. In other areas of S. Philly, it certainly is amazing how some blocks have over a dozen permitted handicapped parking spots-certainly disproportianate to the norm.

I'm always amazed at how the definition of "we are all in this together" is only suited when the one preaching the proverb is satisfied.

if there was a different car in the spot all the time nobody would be bitching, but just because that one spot is in use all the time now there's a whinebitchmoan thread about it. give me a frickin' break here.

Oh, I get it now... YOU are the scooter dude! Park your scooter in the garage along with your car and allow commoners and peasants to park in that spot.

I agree. I figured it was on the homeowner to report when someone else is blocking access and I see garages blocked all the time (I assumed it's usually being done by the homeowner).
