I was a little girl watching my Dad play at Dobbs
My sister and i would color upstairs during a sound check. When he played Sunday shows we would color at a table in front of the stage. My father played bass with Jamison Smoothdog in a acoustic trio and also in the electric version full band Smoothdog. Nice memories, but I would have to agree when The Big D came down was the real death of music at that location. Pontiac was never the same venue. I also started a thread asking if anyone has a recolection or memories of Jamison, that is Not available on a search of the net as I am interested in learning more about a wonderful musical era of my childhood, the 1980's.
