Actually, that's the exact bike that the owner of via bicycle rides around for special events, so you're kind of correct!

Via Bicycle has alot of very unique bikes they own-I don't know for certain, but I'd guess that it had something to do with them. One year they pretended to be out of a dali painting and went down south street for halloween-it was amazing!

Default Cutthroats Bike Club

I'm not going to say much here.

We're the Cutthroats Bike Club.

We have chapters spread throughout the US.

We build, ride, joust and throw tallbike events simply because it's fun.

If you have any real questions besides "How do you get on/off that thing?" or "How do you stop?" Shoot. Otherwise, catch us if you can.

There's plenty of pictures of our events on Flickr. Search Cutthroats.

This is what we call team work.

Ah yes, dismiss the questions that the majority of non tall bikers would ask. So hip.

Default This is for Malloy.

If you could see our lifestyle you'd know we're anything but hip.

How about this. I'll answer it in hopes people will stop running out in the street and yelling these questions to us as we cut through traffic.

ON: Put your hands on the bars. Start walking. Climb up. It's simple.

OFF: Slow down. Climb down. Walk it out. Simple as well.

STOP: Hit the breaks or put your foot in the wheel. Most likely just keep going. If you must stop....see picture.

Have a good one.

being a fellow tallbike rider i can assure you that he is not dismissing your question to be "hip." every time you go out on a tallbike, though, people are constantly asking you how you get on/off and stop. its gotten to the point where i want to print up little index cards with these frequently asked questions on them so i can hand them out instead of repeatedly answering the same thing.

Lifestyle?

Fixed gear bikes became part of a hip lifestyle. Thats why hipsters ride fixed gear bikes now.

I always thought people did things like this for attention, so the fact that they get angry when people ask them the obvious questions makes me giddy.

Thanks for the laugh!
