Well - thats another dream of mine - to bring back the old-school South Street Halloween Parade ... talk about a holiday that needs some tunin' down here on the strip

I guess it depends on who you ask... some might say an answer that somehow connects to the Fat Tuesday riot, or a change in direction to market the strip as a more family-friendly environment for events etc., or perhaps the good ol' fizzle out factor when it comes to planning any event.

Personally, I'm not to into wondering why it doesn't happen - but more interested in trying to bring it back. Some of the best experiences I've had around Halloween have been parade-driven (NYC, San Fran) and I think that the time has come to realize that South Street ain't just for kiddies anymore and create something creative and diverse for those of all ages...

Last night's event proves that an audience is there - now comes bringing the businesses, the community and the police into the fold ... it could be a wonderful Wednesday indeed this coming Halloween
