Default casino question on ballot

i hate to bring it up, because I actually do NOT* want to restart the casinos good/bad debate up in this thread, so reluctantly I post this for informational purposes only! An article today points out that the question has gotten top billing on the ballot: "A controversial referendum question on casinos got a big lift yesterday - from the bottom of the right-hand column of Philadelphia's May 15 primary ballot to the top"

*lets all agree to skip that, i think by this time everyone on this board knows everyone elses opinions on weather or not they want the casinos, and we've also discussed to death if the vote is legal or not.

Its interesting...I didn't know how important ballot placement was until this year. I know two judges who are running, and this month they were explaining that in their position ballot placement is everything when it comes to getting elected.

The Casino Question has been stricken from the ballet pending a hearing. A hearing that is scheduled far too late to put the measure before voters since the ballots have to be prepared 2 weeks in advance of the voting date.

The Vegas odds of CasiNO getting their wish is about... oh.... zero.

And this is why you should donate to PACCA, not PETA:

In September, PETA made headlines in Vermont and across the nation for asking
Ben & Jerry's ice cream to use human breast milk in their ice cream, instead of cow milk
