Where the hell can a girl get a decent pizza, cheesesteak or chineese food delivered.
I've tried Napolie Pizza they weren't that great, I've tried No.1 China and wow they sucked. So give me some names people! |

Where do you live? If in CC on the west side of Broad, try Joe's Pizza on 16th St. Excellent pie. I wish they delivered up to our neck of the woods. Sometimes we'll drive down to pick up.
Mamma Palma's at 23rd & Spruce delivers too, I think, but it's a bit pricey. And, up in Northern Liberties, you have Pizza Rustica (2nd above Poplar). They'll deliver all the way over to 24th St. in Fairmount. All 3 of these establishments make pizza that is superior to your standard Philly fare. I think Joe's is the best, personally. As for non-pizza, if you're in U City or not too far east of the Schuylkill try ordering Indian from New Delhi. Sometimes it takes an hour or longer for them to deliver, but it's excellent Indian food. I presume Minar Palace on Sansom delivers too. |

On 5th, a little south of South:
Golden Empress for Chinese food. Consistently good and more variety than your usual Chinese food delivery joints. Take a look for more info: http://www.digitalcity.com/philadelp....adp?vid=17899 D. |

I always try to scour the menus of pizza joints to see if they sell Gyros...if they do then I avoid them, because they may be Greek and I hate Greek Pizza.
We should start a list of known South Philly greek pizza joints. Marra's is very good non-greek pizza that delivers to Bella Vista/Queen Village. -UC |

Mustard greens is regarded as the best chinese in the area. Giannas is good stuff, I also like their white pizza. The vegan deserts are very good as well. It's a very vegan type of place. I don't even know if they serve the flesh there honestly.
http://www.giannasgrille.com/ La fuorno is good, good ingredients. The thin crusts don't travel well though. I don't like pietros much, I don't recall why. I eat at Maoz a lot along with El Rey, Essene's buffet, tamarind for thai though i've heard Pad Thai is good. I've never tried qv pizza on queen. How is that? Looks like a processed cheese on white flour dough kind of place.

gianna's serves meat as well. in fact, i ordered a pizza with pepperoni and sausage tonight. they have a lot of signs up in the office warning people that they do, in fact, sell meat.
queen village pizza is terrible.
