not roids. but when the guys gets in my gf's fathers face, and he is suffering from leukemia it is about protecting my family. you can accept harrasment from bums, but I won't.

like i said, i'm not good at 'membering details, but i think this guy might be the same guy who recently asked me for $$ in my garage. I had just pulled in and was sitting in the car about to hit the remote to lower the garage door when i heard, "yo big man, i know you can hear me"* - and i'm like "uh, yeah?" and he says something about sweeping the sidewalk for me or something like that, and i say "no thanks" and then he starts in with asking me for a handout, and by then he's in my garage almost up to my door, and i said "uh, you wanna get the f*ck out of my garage" to which he replies "why not, its your garage" and leaves. anyway, might have been the same guy, not sure.

and tom really laid into this guy and told him he didnt want to see him on the block again or....well, i'll leave that up to your imagination. they guy was all "yes sir, yes sir" until they were separated again when he started laughing and talking to no one...

*why must these guys always call me "big man"? it gives me a complex

To those on another thread who wonder what's wrong with these wandering sidewalk sweepers, please read Nipsey's post. Maybe they're not all like this guy. How can you be sure the one approaching you on your sidewalk isn't a trespassing harrasser or menace?

Don't be so quick to judge.

There is an old guy Tony who people pay to sweep up sidewalks for a nominal fee in parts of Bella Vista.

He's totally harmless and goes out of his way to sweep up well beyond what people have paid him for.

My guess is Tony has long been familiar to people in Bella Vista and doesn't panhandle or walk into their garages or encounter residents on their sidewalks and angrily insist that he is paid to sweep there.

Your guess would probably be right. Although I don't know how he got his start. If you ever come across him, though, don't be surprised that he is a bit of a curmudgeon.

I just wouldn't someone like RockHard punching Tony just because he was all roided up and looking for someone to pick on.

this is why i shouldnt open my mouth. i couldn't pick either guy out of a line up and i'm not sure if TAC guy = garage guy = tony
chances are its at least 2 different guys if not 3 altogether

so before any of you travis bickles out there punch anyone make sure you have a better memory than me
