Default 70!

The minute the committee of 70 accepted its first "grant" from the purse of a politician...it was tainted forever.

You can't go back once you've accepted funds from the people you're suppose to keeping an eye on.

The Committee of 70 is absolutely worthless.

DiCicco= self severing yes, but i dont think id call him a crook
Dems=intrenched, because they got the juice, you cant blame them for success, they give the people what they want.
Republicans=annual losers , cause they got no juice, there committee men have to go to the Dems to get something done. and they do it all the time
Phila=in sad shape,it works pretty good if you talk to the right guys

ya know people get the government they deserve.
ah to beat the drum of reform, clark and dilworth were reformers the folks downtown wanted to lynch them. and almost did :rolling_:

Ouch. I have visions of Frankie cutting off all his fingers and toes - one by one.

It was because AFSCME paid my check!

At the time, I was a consultant, working out of DC. Went to Tennessee, went to Virginia, went to Philadelphia.......

All on the worker's dues money. Actually, it was on COPE contributions, but I just threw the smartass remark in to keep our union hating brothers and sisters happy.

We need an emoticon with a raised fist.

With all their faults, trade unions have done more for humanity than any other organization of men that ever existed. They have done more for decency, for honesty, for education, for the betterment of the race, for the developing of character in men, than any other association of men.
