Finding Block Activists in Your Neighborhood
Members of the PhillyBlocks list are once again wrestling with the problem of getting Philadelphia More Beautiful (PMBC) to share its block captain list with community groups. It won't. But it will send a mailing out to its list by zip code if a group supplies the mailing in stamped envelopes. But PMBC block captains aren't the only ones active on blocks. There are Committeepeople. There are members of Town Watch. The Finding Block Activists in Your Neighborhood page provides instructions on how to reach all these groups: Connect here. PhillyBlocks will be building a network of all of these activists in neighborhoods throughout the City--online and in person--consistent with the goals of our Civic Values Campaign. The Finding Block Activists in Your Neigbhborhood page is another step in this process.
