Due to an idiotic political quarrel within the police force, Captain Weaver decided to strip the south street/queen village/bella vista neighborhoods of beat cops on saturday and sunday during the day. Such an act is outrageous, since strong arm robberies and burglaries are more prevalent during the daytime, and a lack of police prescence would only incur more crime in our residential and business neighborhood.
In order to prevent a reoccurrence of this in the future, please call Captain Weaver at 215-686-3030. Perhaps mentioning you noticed a lack of police presence on the street or maybe requested help from the mini-station and no one was available to respond would help to correct this problem.

If we band together we have a better chance of nipping this in the bud before it happens on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon and the neighborhood is crowded.
