Funny story from Sarcone's Deli - it takes all types I guess?
Thanks to Philly blog I discovered Sarcone's Deli and the Bakery.
So today Im getting a late lunch and I call in my order to Sarcone's Deli. I live in BV, so its a nice walk to the deli and I join the crowd of people waiting for their sandwiches. Mine is up and I go to pay. While the woman behind the counter is ringing me up, the phone rings. She takes the call. Im not really paying attention so I miss the beginiing of the converstaion. I begin to notice when it goes like this... "Yes dear" "We get FRESH bread every day" "Well the Medium's have seeds on them. Maybe it was the seeds?" "I assure you we get FRESH bread every day". "I am sure that the bread was soft inside." "Yes, the bread is fresh every day" "The Mediums alwyas have seeds on them". "Yes the bread is delivered every day" It takes all types! HAHAHA...they probably asked it to be "subway toasted"...
that's a great snippet-stale sarcone's bread is the antithesis of getting fresh croutons with a mcdonald's salad!

They should have gotten the caller's name, address, and phone and posted the info at the bakery and deli and never serve them again.
