The layouts do look awful. Lots of "bedrooms" with no windows. It is nice to see something going in this spot though. With all of the improvements to South Street West in recent years, I think this could bridge the gap between the two sides and provide a nice pedestrian experience the whole way.

i love the two houses in the background (yellow exterior). when they were first build i was drooling...too bad i'm broke. btw, hi everyone, i'm chau.
