Default BLIGHTED Second Ward GOP CLUB- POLITICAL CONNECTIONS

Anyone walk past the now defunct Second Ward GOP Club on 7th St, between Fitzwater and Bainbridge? It is a dilapidated ugly disaster. Why is it still in its present condition?

Could it be because it is owned by the politically connected Santoro's and the political establishment and the local civic association does not want to touch it? Is the maintenance of a dangerous, grafitti ridden building permitted if the owners are politically connected?

The fact that this building is allowed to be maintained in its present condition while other owners who maintain similar buildings are hounded, justifiably, by L&I may be testament to our sick political culture that we read about on a daily basis.

I just wonder when the civic association and the neighbors to that property wake up and do something about it?
