Question Queen Village VIPs

Who would you consider to be Queen Village's VIPs? Who would you vote as Mayor of Queen Village?

What kind of VIP? The somewhat famous novelist Jennifer Weiner lives in Queen Village.

As for mayor, I'd probably select one of those good people in QVNA who's working to preserve the neighborhood.

Wow, I didn't know Jennifer Weiner lives here. I gotta remember to check out some of her books next time I'm on vacation.

I've heard that the guy who owns a lot of the billboards on I-95 (not the ClearChannel ones ... some of them have another name on them) lives here in QV.

I think Mo cheeks and the composer George Crumb live here. I'm prettty sure Mo drove by in a mercedes the other day and wished my wife and I a happy new year.

one of the dudes who wrote the worst case scenario handbook lives or lived here.

There are a lot of other non famous VIP types who live here. My block alone includes homicide detective, two district attorneys, some muckety muck with the city, a school teacher (public) and some other really interesting people. It's a super cool block (and safe too - heh).

That's what I love about QV - it just seems like a really committed, interesting group of people of all backgrounds. I know our block is chock-full of architect types (architects, structural engineers, designers). I like that owners of local businesses live here too. The owner of Gayle just moved into the 'hood, and the owners of a few South St. establishments live here too.

Mo Cheeks is renting at the Cigar Factory in NoLibs until his house in the burbs is done. I'm pretty sure about that too considering there is regularly a green Range Rover with Oregon plates parked right out front. I think I've seen him driving around in it too....looks like him.

I was told Mo had a house in QV and never got rid of it. Someone I know said he was in his house a few months ago. Don't really know more about it. I suspect he lives all over the place. Keep in mind when I was told I said Mo who? I ain't from around here why should I care about some guy named Mo?

Lots of interesting and boring people around here.

George Crumb lives in Media. My mom delivers his mail every day.

Mr. Steen, the billboard guy, does live in the QV. He is a very nice guy.
