Tony Payton’s drug possession charge was dismissed, but it still leads me to question; is their still a drug problem? With all the latest news about Tony, i.e. forgery, former campaign staff supposedly being fired, which they say otherwise, bills not being paid and poor job performance. I cannot not help but think that Tony is not in his right mind!!

I understand it is better to not have any legal issues, but wasn't everything dismissed? I kind of paid attention in law school and I'm thinking that is an important factor.

What type of drugs were allegdly involved? Any details on this besides a few court documents? Interesting that Seamus McCaffery was assigned the case too, was Tony in the good graces of the powers that be at that time to get such a quick dismissal?

True, but we haven't heard an explanation why these charges were dismissed?
It's easy to throw a bunch of stuff out there about someone--and hope something will stick. This drug information is interesting. I'm wondering what happened? Why the dismissal? Could it be unfounded? Or maybe dismissed due to lack of evidence?
