Vern Anastasio Refuses To Pay His Staff
Vern Anastasio still hasn't paid his staff from the primary election. He owes us thousands of dollars in unpaid salary and reimbursements.
For shame Vern. I've tried for weeks to get him to pay - and all I've gotten are tired excuses and lies. To add insult to injury, he took a ten-day vacation in late May - while I was stuck back in Philly wondering if I could pay my bills or eat. Now he wants me to wait to after the 20th of June to get paid. I don't think so. I'm glad he lost. If he can't do something so simple as pay his staff, how could he run a complex district like the first? I gave you multiple chances to make good on this Vern - and you blew it. Well, I felt sorry for you until you let us know you were acting as a dishonest shill. Lay down with dogs, you get fleas. What do you expect if you knowing work for someone doing something shady other than to be treated the same way?

Well thanks for coming clean about being a dishonest political wonk and trying to deceive me and everyone else. Sorry that doesn't garner my sympathy.
Like I said, you should get paid. Good luck with that. Maybe try more honest jobs for more honest pay.
