Everyone is steering you in the right direction.
Rentals cost far more than just buying a cheap system. The rental market in philadelphia is 99% geared towards business.
A perfect example would be a friend of mine who rents keyboards for $40/day. I laughed my @ss off and said, "who's dumb enough to do that?", especially since the keyboards he rents out are only $20 to buy. Turned out that the joke was on me, as he stocks 100's of them at any given moment for the convention center, training facilities, and other areas where presenters and instructors rent everything for their seminars. Something about tax advantages-but I havent' figured it out yet.
