Default Morpheus? Or Limewire?...

....or perhaps something else that is better to use?

I used to use morpheus a while ago but then a lot of DLs started getting blocked.

I know we can't officially talk about what it is for - but you all know what I mean.

SSSHHHHH, don't tell people to stop stealing music!!! The viruses they get for their greed is what keeps IT consultants like me in business!!!!!

Seriously, helpfull dolphin, if you use either of those services, you are opening you PC to infection. If someone knows their way around file structures, they can easily attach a trojan to any file you download and take control of your PC for very malicious reasons. $1 a song is a much better value than someone watching you go into your bank account and then take control and wipe you life savings clean. Trust me, it happens.

I use soulseek, mostly for live recording/dj sets/etc, stuff that isn't commercially released.

Try datapune. Its a little hard to find, but its an interserver torrent that has every new movie and program imaginable. I watched ironman and the new batman, amongst others...

stop it - are you serious that we should be affraid of viruses - first there is a thing called virus scan before you open up anything you download- then if you are worried about viruses still you can setup a test machine to just do p2p and test software -- if you still are afraid of viruses get a program like Acronis True Image 11 and make a clone of your hard drive download anything you want you screw something up on that install just restore your clone back to the oprginal (takes 5 minutes)

I doubt people that won't spend $1 a song are keeping their anti-virus up to date. actually testing their files before using, or following through on anything you recommend. While your recommendations are great, the average person on Limewire is the same person that accepts every single active x control requested of them on their social networking sites. Who cares about security when you got to find out whos hooking up with who this weekend.

Anyway, say what you will, but I have seen numerous morons computers ruined by trying to get FREE stuff. Although I haven't tried Alesis software yet.
