Default Pictures from today's movie filming on Market Street

I started a thread in the Center City Forum about the movie filming. I felt that posting pictures should go here though.

They are great. Did you have any problems with the people on site like I did? How did you get right behind the director without getting yelled at? Maybe its my big camera.

Too bad it's a Bollywood film.

Bigger cameras attract more attention.

I woulda picked another building for the FBI. I don't believe the FBI would have a building with such an open ground floor with glass all around. But that's me.

Thanks. I don't think I had ever heard someone say "NO PICTURES" so many times. It would have been easier (less obvious) to take pictures with my pocket digital camera, but I was using my D60.

I took a lot more pictures, but so many were blurry with the action combined with me trying to not be noticed taking pictures. I overheard one of the girls working on the set actually say that if she caught someone taking pictures she had the authority to delete the pictures off of their camera. That gave me a laugh.

Movie set personnel will sometimes try to intimidate people which such assertions, but they are wrong. You are perfectly within your rights to take photos from any vantage point that isn't otherwise blocked to the public, although they can exclude people generally from a perimeter around the shooting scene.

Must be--no massive catering vans or Hollywood goon squad to run off the locals who get in the way.

Great pix of the signage switch.
