The Temple archives have some nice photos here of the area from the 60s and 70s. Although you need to call them up to get unwatermarked versions.

Somewhere lying around I have pictures of Fanny May candies as well as that whole strip of Bridge St somewhere in my collection including Frankford Lanes. As for the Ellis Theater I have nothing except some lousy pictures of what the inside looked like during the early 90's after it was long abandoned. Let me look around this coming weekend to see what I have.

Doesn't sound that crazy to me. To help calculate how long your walk will take, the average human walks 3 miles per hour. From my experience that stat is spot on.

Bridge and Pratt would be 5300 Frankford Ave.

Default question

Do I need a login to look at those photos? Is such access available to the general public?
