Northwood is the area off the Boulevard near FTC that has the mansion-like houses, right?

Yep. That particular picture was taken on Arrott St.

Based on the few times I've been over there, it seems like a nice area...and very out of place in 2004.

Default northwood and olney

Northwood is soooooo beautiful. Most of the homes are just like the ones on Oak Lane: detached and mostly Victorian, I believe. I'm looking for a house either in that area, or maybe Lawndale, in other words nearby Adams and Whitaker Avenues, right on the Blvd. As for Olney, very diverse area. I don't kow if you have any more pictures of Olney, but it would be very needed to show them.

Do you think Lawndale is an area on the rise? Assuming you pay current inflated market value of course.

That's Crescentville. Lawndale is north of there, around Rising Sun or Oxford between Levick and Cottman. It may not be considered "on the rise," the ethnic make up is changing some, but it's a nice area with some beautiful houses.
