Wanna see something sick?

IE6 for Windows running natively on Linux. Package out there called IE6forLinux that configures WINE (WINE is Not an Emulator). All the opcodes in the IE6 binaries and DLLs run natively... for those few sites out there that use crappy ActiveX controls (MSNBC seems to be guilty of this crime, and cbsnews.com)

And this is why you should donate to PACCA, not PETA:

In September, PETA made headlines in Vermont and across the nation for asking
Ben & Jerry's ice cream to use human breast milk in their ice cream, instead of cow milk

That is nice, but I rather stick a fork in my eye then run IE6 ever again....Once you got Web 2.0, you never go back...

Taken from a hike I did in Shenandoah Nat'l Park two weeks ago. This was easily the best hike I've ever been on. The fall foliage was awesome, but what made it truly memorable was a 1 mile "rock scramble" where you clamber under, around, and over ginormous boulders. Tons of fun.

Here's mine. Not my picture but I found a color version on the net and converted it to black and white.

When did you take/get that photo of a PCC running down 12th Street (by Millennium Coffee)?

I walk through this point where the picture was taken just about every single night...

West side of Wanamaker's by the lobby trees.

He probably took it sometime in the mid-1990s ('93-'95), when SEPTA ran rehabbed vintage PCCs on a loop from 11th and Noble to 12th and Bainbridge Streets.

I also took a photo of a PCC on the "Welcome Line" -- this is Car 2728, in the original "cream cheese" livery Philly's first PCCs wore in 1937, at 11th and Lombard:

Note that the route number is missing on the roll sign. Even though the loop used the tracks of the Route 23, it had its own separate route number -- 51.

If you want to ride unadulterated Philly PCCs now, you have to go to San Francisco.

I've been using this as wallpaper courtesy Flickr. Taken from a hot air balloon in Chester County.
