Geno,

You need to upload them to a website.

I just upload mine to my included Comcast website.

All you need to do to upload them to Comcast is to go to:

ftp://upload.comcast.net

Put your Comcast Login and Pwd in when it asks you. I just drag my images from Windows Explorer to the FTP session and drop them and the upload starts.

Then create a post on PhillyBlog and click on the IMG button then put in the URL to the photo. On Comcast it will be in the format:
http://home.comcast.net/~Username/image.jpg

Then click the IMG button again.

Preview your post to make sure that the image shows up.

Thanks UC. The only computer I have access to these days is the one in my office and I can't get to the Comcast thing. Will this allow me to transfer images from a yahoo photos site that is viewable by the public ie. not password protected? Because when I try to post the image from there in the way you described to do it, the preview just shows the link to the photo, not the photo itself. Sorry about all the questions, I'm not very computer savvy.

Geno,

I am not really sure how Yahoo works. You need a place that allows uploads and to be able to reference the picture directly via a URL.

I doubt that a Yahoo would allow you to do this? If it is free, I would assume that they want you to link to the whole page, including ads, which you cannot post on PB.

There maybe some free places out there? Anyone know of any?

Geno,

I found one free service that seems on the level and does allow direct links:

http://imageshack.us/index3.php

A non-free service that's been around a while is PBase, $23/year for 200 MB.
