I find the best way to transfer images to a PC is with a USB or Firewire card reader. Just take the memory card out of your camera and put it in the card reader and it will then be mounted as a drive letter on your PC. As for making the images smaller, I am not sure of freeware utilities to use (though I am sure you could find them). Adobe Photoshop Elements ($99 - version 3.0 will be released on Oct 11th) will allow you to resize the images as well as do many other photo correction stuff (red-eye removal....etc) -UC |
