Hi Joe. There is a great website with lots of historic Philly photos at
http://phillyhistory.org. You can search a lot of diffrent ways, including by neighborhood. There are currently 58 photos of Olney in the database, mostly of Olney schools being built in the '20s and '30s, but there are also a few general neighborhood shots too.
The Free Library of Philadelphia also has some historic photos of Philly uploaded to the library website here:
http://libwww.library.phila.gov/hip/index.cfm. Olney isn't one of the neighborhoods listed but it's worth a look anyway.
Needless to say there are also a lot of old Philly photos in the Central Library's collection that are not digitized/online, so if you're local, pay a visit to 1901 Vine Street and ask in Social Science and History, and also in Prints and Pictures. The librarians there will also be able to point you to additional sources for old images.
