the tony luke thread made me think of more people who are famous and from philly w/ the help from wikipedia i started please help me come up with a bigger and more precise list

what is your criteria here? natives? or did something in the city? because not all of the ones that you lister are philly natives. charles barkley for example was born in alabama. schmidt is from ohio....

Not to mention Kobe Bryant, Jerry Stackhouse, Julius Erving, Randall Cunningham.

Kobe is from the burbs, Upper Merion i think.
Jerry Stackhouse is from North Carolina.
Julius Erving is from Long Island
and Randall Cunningham.....I forgot, but I know he's not a Phila native.

native means, born in Philadelphia. Alot of people on your list are not natives.

Kobe is from Lower Merion but is listed as being born in Philadelphia. So what that makes him, I don't know. It's like how i am. I'm from Shortsville, NY but my town was too small to have a hospital so I was born in Canandaigua, NY.
