The International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival will be starting in a few days. I went last year and it was FABULOUS! Not only did I see some great (and a few not so good) gay oriented films, but it was a great place to meet guys.

You can always shop for groceries at the 10th and South Street Super Fresh -- it was voted "Best Pickup Spot, Center City" in the 2006 CityPaper Readers' Choice poll.
If you like the New Wave scene, you might want to check out Robert Drake's Sex Dwarf dance party on Friday nights at Fluid (but then you probably knew about this one). Wonder whatever happened to the Guerilla Queer Bar organizers? It's my impression that if enough of us descend on a place, we can make it as gay as we want it to be, and the GayPhillyGuerilla crowd demonstrated that pretty effectively at a variety of ordinarily hetero spots. So: Who's up for a PaperStreet intervention on the Moshulu one fine Saturday? They spin better music than you hear in 99% of the local gay bars to boot.

I went to one of those Queer Bar things years ago, it was fun, lots of hipsters though. I think the organizer moved away and no one took it over.
