Honestly, I think a lot of us would lose our jobs over something like that.

As well we should, he violated a fellow employee's privacy. No argument there. What a jerk. However I would not want to have to come home and tell the spouse that I got sacked for some dumb stuff like that. If my husband came home with a story like that he'd be dog meat.

I agree. This is an example of colossal stupidity and hubris -- did he think he'd get away with it? They're both losers in my book now.
