he's extremely white and doesn't wear sunblock. I see lots of guys wearing flip flops and not only bc I leave near midtown village are they not manly enough for straight men.... Also I think he is in need of a facial regime such as this http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...dPaginate=true but he thinks this is too much?! I am concern
girl, i think if you want your man to use those skincare products, you're going to have to break down and buy them for him.

how about treating him to a manicure & pedicure? tell him it's basically a hand & foot massage and your nails look cleaned up afterwards. that way it won't feel so girly to him.

as was mentioned, i agree in lieu of flip flops, some good looking sandals aren't a bad idea if he wants something more sturdy.

the spray on sunscreen is excellent for men 'cause it's fast and as someone else said, it's easier to apply when you're dealing with the hairy factor.

Your man has the feet of a troll. Keep them hidden!

Default Sorry...

...but any male bearing flip-flopped feet is not prepared to kick ass in defense of your honor or run down a purse-snatcher. The only place flip-flops and male feet should mix is at a shared showering facility in defense against various fungi.

Don't pester him about it. He will resist and eventually resent (or risk demerits for violating the Code of the Dude). Once had a wife who bought me a book entitled "How To Be A Better Husband" - as a birthday present. Yup, that worked.

Flip flops are stupid and really bad for your body. Also, an SPF stick is convenient. Find one which is oil-free.

I can only get my husband to apply sunblock when he's outside for a really, really long time, and he usually doesn't reapply. He only makes a little bit of an effort to be a positive example to our daughter.

I think RussDiamond said it right. Furthermore, only badass, blackbelt type of guys can wear them. I mean, who else would? You would look like a f**kin' pansy*

As for the sunblock, tell him that people with bad sunburns not only look funny, but also stupid.

*no offense to the pansys. If ya wanna wear those things, I won't be mad at you.

guys in texas, dallas at least, wear flip flops often in summertime. and i'm not even in the city's gayborhood. i never thought of flip flops as gaywear.

oh, and i do put on aftershave balm...really helps me with my nicks and cuts.

I know who your honey is.

He is a hopeless nerd. Good luck. You'll never change him, he'll always be a dork.

Get a better razor. Mach3 works wonders. Only a few nicks in years.
