How do you know it was Larry looking at Lane's email? The seized computer was from Mendte's home. Dawn Stensland lives there too. Mendte worked with Lane. Lane sends provocative pics to married men. You do the math.

If Mendte was looking at Lane's email when the FBI came a-knocking, it is quite possible they could have literally caught him with his dick in his hand.

Odd that the FBI is investigating what sounds like should probably be a civil matter between Lane and Mendte. Perhaps her call to Ed Rendell was helpful after all?

It was interesting watching 29 news this morning and them report the Larry story and say that he is the husband of their anchor.

I guess they must report the news no matter if the situation is connected in-house or not.

Not to detrail this thread, but I simply do not understand why Fox 29 is getting rid of their GOOD talent. Look at Rob Guarino. They got rid of him and he was actually a good, honest weather guy. Then they go replace him with pretty boy Bolaris. Now Dave Huddleston! I always though Dave was professional, especially after Dawn would make a stupid comment...he always kept his composure during those awkward times.

Back during the Lewinsky scandal days a news anchor in the city where I lived was under investigation in a HUGE prostitution sting. His wife was his co-anchor. The station didn't assign either of them to report on the situation and didn't cover on their schedule (but they did something about it on air), as I recall, but he went to "rehab" and came back weeks later and they gave his wife all the Monica stories to read at the desk with him, which I thought made for some darn awkward viewing. She waited a while to divorce him, he was eventually off the air/let go, and, sadly, he later committed suicide. What made it even sadder was that they had young children. Sometimes I wish we didn't know so much about the personal lives of our newspeople.

Gaurino apparently had some off-camera intern issues that put the station in a bas situation.
